Not working after compile

Hi there,

I have such a problem:

1. I'v downloaded a compiled example - works perfectly
2. then i have downloaded latest (2009.02.12) sources from http://code.google.com/p/panosalado/
3. compiled it as it was described in this tutorial http://flashpanos.com/content/getting-and-compiling-panosalado-source
no errors!
4. replaced PanoSalado.swf with new compiled file

when i try to load an example - I get black page
then I tried to compile and replace ModuleLoader.swf , PanoSaladoLoadMeter.swf
but it didn't help

I heve tried diferent combinations and noticed that if i change to new compiled files any of ModuleLoader.swf or PanoSalado.swf - example stops working

I also could not find UserInterface.as in the new downloaded sourses

Any ideas what am i doing wrong?

Thanks

re: PanoSalado Not working after compile

Hey there:

* PanoSalado's new home and official forums are at http://www.panosalado.com/forums

The blank page issue is probably a Flash security issue (you're looking at this from your hard drive, yes?). This post may help you:

The "UserInterface.as" is now deprecated. Use the new files in the latest PanoSalado download -- they offer both Actionscript and MXML.

Cheers,

Patrick

Hi, I don't want to post

Hi,

I don't want to post same question to two different forums (or is it OK?)

But your suggested post did not help.

And I think it can not be security issue because everything works perfectly when i use PanoSalado.swf and ModuleLoader.swf from the example zip (compiled by author of example)

PS. all flash other apps are running locally with no problem

any more suggestions?

Thanks anyway Smile

re: PanoSalado Not working after compile

Hey there:

Please go ahead and post in the forums at panosalado.com -- those are the "official" forums now. Smile

But, can you run/install a debugger (like Flash Tracer for Firefox) or can you monitor what it going on in your flashlog? You'd need the debug version of Flash player installed too, but it can bevery helpful.

Cheers,

Patrick
